Hansen Achieves CCP Recertification

David L. Hansen, SPHR, CCP, Senior Human Resources Consultant at HR-OneSource has received recertification for his Certified Compensation Professional designation for another three-year period, through 2010.

A Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is awarded by World at Work (formerly American Compensation Association) to those designees who have earned it by attending numerous required compensation-related courses and passing rigorous examinations.

Holders of the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation must recertify every three years to be able to retain the designation and be in good standing with World at Work.  Recertification entails being a member of World at Work, a member of a local compensation-related organization, in Hansen’s case, the Central Iowa Compensation and Benefits Network, attending compensation-related seminars and courses, teaching compensation-related courses, authoring articles, and performing compensation-related projects.

Hansen, in his compensation consulting, provides services such as the following: performing job analysis; preparing job descriptions; performing job evaluation for the purpose of determining internal equity; conducting wage and salary surveys and developing compensation structures that are externally competitive; implementing performance management systems; and developing incentive pay programs.
