A recent WorldatWork 2005-2006 Salary Budget Survey projects average overall increases of 3.8 percent in 2006. That is up slightly from 2005 increases of 3.7 percent.
The anticipated increases for specific categories of employees are:
Nonexempt -- 3.7%
Exempt -- 3.8%
Officers/Executives -- 3.9%
The report also found that more workers are receiving increases in 2005 (92 percent) compared to 2004 (87 percent).
